While we do not provide breakfast or kitchen privileges, we do provide in-the-know concierge services to what (we feel) makes Raleigh, “RALEIGH".
Do you accept pets?
We love all animals, especially those that serve the disabled. However, we are not able to accommodate pets. We are a small guest house and must be sensitive to those with allergies.
Where is THE STORE located?
THE STORE is located in the Historic Glenwood-Brooklyn District. We are ideally located 6 blocks from the Village District, 6 blocks from Glenwood South Entertainment and Smoky Hollow Districts and only a 30 minute walk to the heart of Downtown Raleigh. If you plan to take an Uber, Lyft or taxi, please tell the driver to drop you off at the WHITE, 2-story building on the SE CORNER of Devereux and Gaston Sts.
The Glenwood-Brooklyn neighborhood and surrounding districts are considered very safe, walkable and friendly. However, please be mindful to lock your car and take your keys. THE STORE is not responsible for damage to or loss of personal property, parking violations or personal injury.
What is the check-in and check-out procedure?
Standard check-in time is 3:00PM and check-out time is 11:00AM; however, guests may request luggage drop off and pick-up. If your accommodations are ready and available before 3:00PM, you will be contacted via text or email to let you know. Please confirm your estimated time of arrival (ETA) and kindly provide updates. Ring the bell at the pair of double doors at the upper courtyard off Gaston Street. The Owner/Host will greet you to check-in, give you a building key and demonstrate how door operates, show you around, explain features of your room and best of all, provide you personal concierge advice for nearby restaurants and attractions. Check out is simple—upon departure, just lock the building door and drop your key in the mailslot!
Does THE STORE accommodate children?
We love kids! However, we are not able to accommodate their needs. Our downstairs lobby and our guest room configuration are not child friendly. We apologize.
Is parking free and available?
Guests may park in our gravel driveway off Gaston St. or be given an on-street parking pass—both are free. A nearby parking lot—shown on the Parking Diagram below—is available for overflow event parking located 1 block away off Gaston Street directly behind Peace Street Market.
